A rising name drawing the right attention from prolific figures in the Afro House scene such as Black Coffee and Anane to name a few. We are proud to announce the label debut release from the newest addition to the DM.Recordings roster, Ankulu with 'W.A.F' EP.

Ankulu has rapidly become a producer to closely watch since he stepped up in providing a top -class remix of Saint Evo & Toshi's 'Ukhalelani' - in which he teamed up with close friend Zithane. To no surprise, Ankulu is keen to continue on his rising journey through his work whether it be solo or partnered up. To no surprise, he calls on his favourite collaborator, Zithane, who embeds the tech side of electronic music further into the Afro House genre with 'Congo Dust'.

With a mission to set himself apart from the common sound elements that are associated with Afro House, 'Unread Message' sees Ankulu team up with Menzi. These producers skilfully entwine a melodic feel in using simple piano keys to neatly lay aside deep/electro kicks - laced with a harmonic synth. There is no doubt that this track will be on the hot list of many deep-afro lovers' playlist.

Set for high hopes - the name Ankulu might be fresh now, but you won't stop hearing it soon.
