Following his debut release in 2017 on signing with DM.Recordings, we are pleased to announce the second release from 104 BPM with ‘Interpretations Part 1’. 104 BPM is a name that emerged on the afro house scene last year and gained great attention from big producers such as Boddhi Satva and Hanna Haïs. This young talent has been complimented for his varied style in afro house that has been iterated as “a breath of fresh air’.

In this first part of his Interpretations project, 104 BPM shows his persistence and dedication to his ethos of providing a diverse sound that appeals to the masses, whilst keeping his African identity intact. ‘Mountains of Sichuan Province’ demonstrates the sultry layers to his production taking listeners on an expressive journey. 104 BPM gives us two versions of ‘Imvula’ with an original and dub that shouts out to the dance floor workers that will appreciate the snappy kicks on their systems.

We are excited to hear what 104 BPM has to offer us this year - and what a great beginning this is.
