This year DM.Recordings vow to continue bringing new talent to the scene and showcasing different sounds of house music. In keeping our vow, we are proud to present the debut EP from Calypso De Sir entitled ‘Incognito’.

Coming from Bizana, a small town situated in the Eastern Cape, Calypso De Sir is an upcoming producer/DJ that caught our attention through his simplistic 4/4 beat patterns that have layers of groove which exemplify why this is made for the clubs. Tracks such as ‘Zitabata’ and ‘From A Distance’ have atmospheric synths that are combined with dramatic claps which take listeners on a journey - this is a key element in creating great house tracks. This EP is a seamless listen and unquestionably puts Calypso De Sir on the map for African-infused electronic music.
